Air-to-air heat pumps are primarily designed for ventilation and air conditioning installations with central air conditioning that have high energy losses/gained.
The effect of the heat pump provides, depending on operating conditions, 2 to 5 times less consumption of electrical power compared to achieved thermal energy. This is especially important in a ventilation system where preparation of fresh air requires a high-energy consumption. Exhaust air is an excellent heat source (sink).
By transforming the energy of exhaust air coming from ventilation system, we can achive three to five times lower energy consumption compared to direct heating which allows the high-performance of our systems, energy saving and high fats return of the investment.
Air-to-air heat pumps are manufactured as a compact and a split system.
Recovery of waste energy by dedicated heat pumps
Heat pumps used for ventilation systems utilize heat energy of exhaust air and transform energy into the fresh air. This enables return of a large part of discarded energy with low power consumption. This process makes aggregates cost-effective and very economical.
Aggregates can be used in all installations that operate with a higher fresh air percentage.
